Chundu Island – Current Account

Chundu Island, a few kilometres upstream from Victoria Falls, recently introduced boat transfers to take guests from the Falls (or thereabouts – you leave from a jetty adjacent to the fantastic Zambezi House, a lovely restaurant, coffee house and venue just outside of the town). This means that by the time you arrive, you’ve already traversed rapids, slalomed around hippos, seen a dozen or more species of waterbirds and paused on a Zambezi riverside beach to have the first G&T of your stay.
